Aim:

This programme provides graduates with a QQI Level 6 qualification in Business. On completion of the course students may advance directly into employment. After Brexit it is anticipated that knowledge of International Trade practices covered in this course will be increasingly sought by employers..


Entry Requirements:

Students seeking entry to this course should have completed a QQI Level 5 award or equivalent. Mature students with relevant experience are also welcome to apply.


Progression and Career Options:

On completion of this programme students will be prepared to begin careers in office management or administration or progress to further studies in Third Level in: Maynooth, DIT, DCU, TCD, NUIG.

Students may also have the option of continuing to further studies at Third Level, including progressing to Year 2 of a Business Studies Degree in the DKIT Links Scheme. This course also provides common entry to a range of other courses in Institutes of Technology.
